Herb & Spice Talks or Tea Tasting

At Koori Kulcha we offer school programs ranging from pre-school (3 years+) through to high school.

We have a range of options catering to school budgets and we are happy to offer once off workshops or term long classes for your students.

Below are some of the options we currently offer to schools:

1. Cultural Talks for classes or whole school assemblies (Depth of talk is altered for student age, we suggest Kindergarten to yr 2 – yr 3 to yr 6 – yr 7 to yr 9 – yr 10 to yr 12).
2. Food Tasting & Tools Display – This is designed to go along with our Cultural Talks that we provide so once students have sat through the talk they can then try some of our foods &/or view Artefacts Aboriginal People have used across the years.
3. Cooking Classes – We can visit your school & run some Indigenous cooking classes while also doing a Culture talk. Some ingredients may include: Emu, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Lemon Myrtle & Wattle Seed.
4. Art Classes – We provide the staff & all the equipment for your students to enjoy a wide range of Indigenous art classes. Some options may include: Weaving, Clay Tablet with Aboriginal Symbols, Canvas Art, Story Time with Craft (Craft difficulty changes to suit students age).
